This is an extra project. It is about 5-6 inches tall and about 4-5 inches wide. The glaze is a white with some blue but it did not get fired because of glaze on the bottom that I didn't think would run:/. An art element would of been color and a design element would of been texture because it would of been nice and smooth.
This is my choice project #2. It is about 2 1/2 inches tall and about 3 inches wide. The glaze is just straight green. It's simple and kind of boring. An art element would be color and a design element would be texture because it is very nice and smooth. This is my choice project. It is about 6 inches tall and about 3-4 inches wide. An art element would be color and a design element would be pattern. These are my bowls 3 and 4. The one on the left is about 4 inches tall and 5 inches wide. The glaze I used for it was white as the first coat and then blue for the second coat and it turned out really cool. A design element for it would be contrast and an art element would be color. The bowl on the right is about 4 inches tall and about 6-7 inches wide. The glaze I used for it was sand and a candy apple which turned out purplish. A design element for it would be texture and an art element would be color. These are my two plates. They are about 1 inch tall and 5 inches wide. It is about 6inchee tall and 4 inches wide. The glaze on it is green with brownish dots blended into it. A technique I used with it was choking to form the top and then pushed the walls in to make them look unique. A design element is pattern. An art element would be color. This is my planter. It is about 3 inches tall and about 5 inches wide. The glaze in it a bluish green and then black with baby blue in the plate. This is my choice project which is a bowl. It is about 5 inches wide and 4 inches tall. The glaze on it is a lighter pink like cotton candy and I used it throughout the whole project. It's a detail type glaze but I just wanted to see how it would turn out. A technique I used was using my sponge to pull up the walls and using the rib tool to shape the bowl. I filed in the sides of the bowl to do something different with my projects for once and it turned out pretty cool. An art element would be color and a design element would be texture. This is my second bowl. It's about 4 1/2 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches tall. The glaze on it is also like my first bowl. It's a dark blue and a dark green. A technique I used was using the rib tool to shape it and it worked quite well. An art element that I used was color and a design element I used was texture. My bowl is about 5inches talk and about 4 inches wide.the glaze I used was a dark blue and a darker green. It didn't quite turn out how I wanted but it turned out alright.
